GENERAL SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The 135mm Unitised Curtain Wall (UCW) Suite is a dry-glazed, single-level window wall system designed for high-performance façade applications. Built around a nominal 135mm x 80mm beaded mullion, the system features interlocking male/female mullions and integrates seamlessly with seismic head, sill, and jamb framing. Panels are deadloaded onto a sill tray, allowing for structural movement and seismic compliance.
Commonly accommodating panel sizes around 3000mm x 1200mm, the system supports a wide range of infill options—including glass, composite panels, stone, and terracotta—and can incorporate top-hung sashes, insert doors, and external fins or shading devices.
Tested to AS/NZS 4284 standards, the system meets key NZBC requirements for structure, durability, moisture protection, and energy efficiency, with finishes available in powdercoat, PVDF, or anodised options.
Installation is completed by KFI to ensure compliance and warranty coverage.
