Hengyi Pacific (NZ) Ltd
KFI delivered a full façade package for The Pacifica, New Zealand’s tallest residential tower, standing at 178 metres with 57 storeys. Located on Commerce Street in Auckland’s downtown CBD, the development includes 282 luxury apartments, a 35-suite boutique hotel, and high-end amenities including a pool, gym, yoga studio, residents' lounge, library, and rooftop barbecue terrace.
The façade comprises KFI’s 180mm unitised curtain wall system, high-rise windows and doors, bespoke unitised ribbon cladding, street-level shopfronts, and balcony glass balustrades. External aluminium fins, mechanical plant louvres, an automatic door system, and a frameless street canopy complete the façade scope.
A defining feature of the building is the twisted form inspired by the Māori Pikorua motif, expressed through the curtain wall’s geometry and reflective glass, designed to capture the surrounding city and harbour. Engineered for high-rise performance, thermal efficiency, and architectural impact, the façade system plays a critical role in realising this iconic landmark’s ambition for luxury vertical living.
