As a part of the Façade contract KFI can supply GRC Panels – Either as a cladding in itself or (more commonly) as an infill within a Curtainwall Panel
GRC Panels are constructed with a mould – so are an excellent solution where there is repetition of a common size and pattern of panel.
Due to the weight of the panels, the KFI Engineering Team design the cast in supports as a part of the GRC Panel itself, as well as the support frame required to enable the GRC to be fitted to a building structure or within a stiffened Aluminium Curtainwall.
OPTIONS AND FEATURES
GRC Panels can be created in a vast array of architectural design, with varying profiles from flat to projecting and with surface finishes from smooth to roughcast and including detailed and patterned surface design.
GRC is generally coloured with a through coloured dye in the cement – a range of colours are available – and the panels are usually supplied with a sealer coat applied to control moisture absorption and colour consistency.
