Luna Apartments is a nine-storey residential complex in Grafton, Auckland, comprising over 120 units with expansive city and harbour views. Originally built in the early 2000s, the building required major remediation due to weathertightness failures around recessed balconies.

The remediation included a high-performance unitised curtain wall system with sliding windows, enclosing balconies to improve thermal performance and internal space. A ventilated solid aluminium rainscreen system, thermally broken joinery, and upgraded glazing were also installed.

The façade renewal modernised the building’s appearance and improved durability, comfort, and energy efficiency—enhancing its long-term value and resident experience.
