KFI was engaged by Hawkins Construction, alongside Warren & Mahoney, RLB, and Aurecon, to deliver the full façade for KEB 2—a five-level commercial building developed by Ngāi Tahu Property.

The façade includes a shopfront curtain wall at ground level, structurally glazed fixed windows above, and full-height glazed lobby walls. Black glazed custom extruded ceramic tiles and through-colour flat tiles were mounted on a bespoke support system over RAB and structural framing, designed to accommodate movement. High-performance triple-coated low-E double glazing was used throughout for optimal thermal and solar performance.
