Completion 2014
Peddle Thorp Architects
KFI completed the full recladding of Hobson Garden Apartments, a two-tower residential development originally clad in a monolithic ACP system that experienced ongoing weathertightness issues. Working top-down, KFI removed the existing cladding, installed a RAB system, and fitted 3mm solid aluminium panels in an open-joint drained and ventilated rainscreen configuration.
New windows and doors were also supplied and installed using the KFI 50mm window suite. The works were carried out in stages to allow residents to vacate and reoccupy apartments in line with programme requirements, demanding a highly coordinated, customer-focused approach to site operations.
