30 Daldy Street is a landmark commercial development by Mansons TCLM in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter, comprising two premium-grade office towers connected by a full-height glazed atrium. Designed by FORMiS, the project aims to achieve 6-Star Green Star, 5-Star NABERSNZ, and Platinum WELL certification, setting a new benchmark for workplace sustainability and wellness.

The façade features a high-performance unitised curtain wall system incorporating floor-to-ceiling triple low-E glazing, vertical glass fins, and integrated aluminium solar shading devices—optimising natural light, thermal performance, and occupant comfort.

A key architectural element is the innovative copper-look magnesium composite panel, applied as an overlapping single-layer rainscreen system. This advanced cladding solution offers the appearance and patina of real copper while maintaining lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant properties. It is used to create distinctive framed elevations, wrapping building corners and selected feature areas with warmth, richness, and visual depth.

At street level, brick slip cladding anchors the development with a tactile and robust podium interface, enhancing the pedestrian scale and reinforcing the building’s integration within the historic industrial context of the Wynyard Quarter. The combination of material expression and environmental performance defines 30 Daldy Street as a leading example of future-focused commercial design.
